How To Access Your Website's WordPress Dashboard
💡 One of the last steps we take after launching your website is to ensure you can manage and update your content directly. This includes giving you access to the WordPress dashboard, where you can post blogs and manage your site.
- Recieve Your Login Details
- Email Notification: After being added as a user, you'll receive an email from the website containing your username and a link to set your new password.
- Setting Up Your Password: Click the link in the email to navigate to the password reset page. Here, you can choose a new password by clicking "reset password."
- Logging Into WordPress
- Accessing the Login Page: To log in to the WordPress dashboard, visit your homepage URL followed by "/wp-admin". This URL brings you directly to the login page.
- Entering Login Credentials: Use the username provided in the email and the password you've just created to log in.
- Creating New Blog Posts
- Once logged in, you can navigate to the "Posts" section to start creating new blog posts. This feature allows you to keep your site's content fresh and engaging.
- Forgot Your Password?
- If you ever forget your password, there's no need to worry!
- Resetting Your Password: Go to the WordPress login page and click "Lost your password?" You'll receive an email with instructions to reset your password, similar to the initial setup process.
This process ensures you have the autonomy to update and manage your website's content seamlessly from the WordPress dashboard.
